Lexington Considers Banning Dogs in Willard’s Woods

Lexington, like many other towns in the metro Boston area, has a voice control law (rather than a leash law as in Maynard). Willard’s Woods is reportedly a popular place for dog owners to take their dogs for hikes off-leash. Now, however, the abutters are complaining and the town is considering banning dogs, requiring leashes, or otherwise restricting legal off-leash activity in the area.
